Cymphonique Miller is conquering Hollywood. Not only does she star as Kacey Simon on How to Rock, but she's also on tour this summer and will be starring in an upcoming movie. Cymphonique recently stopped by the J-14 office and gave us the inside scoop on her growing fame, what's next on How to Rock and more!
J-14: How's your summer tour going?
Cymphonique: Really well because I get to see all the fans and meet them. I love them - I couldn't be here without them!
J-14: Are you like your 'How to Rock' character, Kacey?
Cymphonique: I think we're similar in the way that she's constantly growing. We're both in love with music, and no matter what stuff we get into, we're always trying to make it right. She's a part of me.
J-14: Do you have any 'How to Rock' spoilers you can share?
Cymphonique: You will get to see me play guitar on the show for the first time - it's an acoustic version of "Only You Can Be You." Expect more food to be thrown because that's what we do: We throw food. There's been slushies; there's been macaroni and cheese; we've been poured on with chocolate - so there's everything!
J-14: How does your book series, 'Fabulous Girls', and your clothing like, Be Your Own You, empower girls?
Cymphonique: I'm all about girl empowerment! I want to show girls that there's all different kinds of beauty, and everyone is beautiful in their own way - you just gotta work with whatever you have. I say, "Invest in your mind, beauty fades over time."
J-14: What can fans expect from you in the next few months?
Cymphonique: I'm actually working on an action film for a teen franchise, and I get to kick-box in it! So this will be different than you've ever seen me. We'll also be releasing more music. I love making new songs and writing new things!
