In fact, the American Idol alum has been watching Simon Cowell's new show The X Factor and says he's been completely blown away. "My jaw dropped when I was watching because it was so good," David says.

But not just that -- David wants to hear from you about a very important issue: His hair! "Let me know if I need a haircut," he says with a grin. "I've actually been meaning to get a haircut, by the way. I usually get one when I'm in Utah, but I haven't been in Utah lately."

Sad news for David Archuleta -- he was dropped from his record label, Jive, last week, and parted ways with his management. Instead of being down and out about the news, David has taken this opportunity to reflect and make some important decisions. "Decisions.. They are scary things before knowing what could happen after you make them, but I'm excited for what the future holds," he Tweeted.

David Archuleta just returned from a week-long trip to India where he visited leper colonies and worked with a group called Rising Star Outreach.

"It's an organization that works with people who are suffering from leprosy in India, who have been outcast and shunned from their communities because they're believed to be filthy and unclean people," David says in his new vlog where he talks about his trip.

David was especially moved by interacting with the leprosy victims. "Seeing their faces, knowing their names, hearing their stories of where they've come, I'm just amazed," he says.
