Miranda Cosgrove will make her live TV performance debut when she sings three songs on the Today Show next Monday, September 6.

Miranda Cosgrove and her iCarly costars had a very special guest star join them -- Glee's Jane Lynch, a.k.a. cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester! iCarly creator Dan Schneider posted this sneak preview pic on his Twitter page:

"Here's a secret pic from the set of iCarly. It shows Miranda Cosgrove and Jennette McCurdy with special guest star... JANE LYNCH!!!" Dan wrote.

Miranda loved working with the Glee star so much that she tweeted about the special episode too. "Jane Lynch is hysterical :D," Miranda said. "I played Rockband with her daughter and her friend on set. :D 'Eye of the Tiger' is a killer song to play on drums."

The episode will air during iCarly's third season, and Jane will be playing the never-before-seen mom to Jennette's character Sam.

Are you excited to see Jane Lynch on iCarly?

Uh oh! An evil villain named Gru is about to steal the moon! At least that's what happens in the animated flick, Despicable Me, opening July 9. Thank goodness a girl named Margo, voiced by Miranda Cosgrove, and her two pals who help him change his evil ways.

Another of the characters, Vector, is voiced by funny guy Jason Segel from the TV show How I Met Your Mother and movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

From releasing her debut album Sparks Fly to picking up iCarly's Kid's Choice Award for Favorite TV Show, Miranda Cosgrove has had a whirlwind year. The star turns 17 today. Happy birthday, Miranda!

J-14: Why did you decide to go with Sparks Fly for the album title?
Miranda Cosgrove: "Sparks fly" are actually the first two words you hear when you put the album on because it's the first two words of "Kissin U." I'd been trying to think of the perfect album title since I started making the album a year and a half ago. Then it got down to two weeks before I had to tell them, and I was like 'What am I going to call it?' Then I was listening to the final master copy, and it was just like "sparks fly." I was like, 'That's perfect!' So we ended up going with that.

J-14 just got back from having lunch with Miranda Cosgrove in New York City, where we got to hang with the star, listen to her brand new album Sparks Fly (it hits stores tomorrow!), and chat about which star she's crushing on -- and it just happens to be the same star Selena Gomez swoons over!

"I would love to date Shia LaBeouf!" Miranda tells J-14. "That'd be great. I wouldn't mind at all. I've liked him for a long time -- [Selena] probably has too though!"
