Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2
"Talk about going out on a high note -- the cast of Harry Potter truly saved the best for last. The final chapter of the series will no doubt go down in history as one of the most thrilling and heart-wrenching films yet... and feisty too, thanks to Mrs. Weasley's infamous line!" --Editor-in-Chief Rachel Chang

"Kristen Stewart was fantastic! I can't wait to see the next movie!" --Designer Tanya Swartz

"It's a classic that every generation loves from the kids to the adults. Put it in 3D and it's just that much better." --Photo Assistant Nicole Mazza

Crazy. Stupid. Love.
"Who can resist a story about finding love and learning not to take it for granted. (Also, who can resist Ryan Gosling...)" --Assistant Editor Rachel Sheehan

Super 8
"It has the sci-fi with heart feeling of E.T. plus the touching, realistic friend adventure of old school classic Stand By Me, and the mysterious monster-thrill of Cloverfield." --Photo Editor Danielle Kepler

Take a Bite Out of Twilight's Bella & Edward's First Date

BellaItaliaRestaurant.jpg

Every romance has to start somewhere -- even Bella Swan and Edward Cullen's. And now you can get a taste of The Twilight Saga's eternal couple's first date by eating the actual mushroom ravioli that Bella ate that night in Port Angeles, WA.

VISIT IT: J-14's ALL ABOUT THE TWILIGHT SAGA

The restaurant has been open since the spring of 1996, but it wasn't until the first Twilight book was published in 2005 that it turned into a pop culture institution. "I looked out the window to see the lights of La Bella Italia, and Jess and Angela just leaving, pacing anxiously away from us," Stephenie Meyer wrote on page 165 in Bella's voice.

And further along on page 165, "I picked the first thing I saw on the menu. 'Um... I'll have the mushroom ravioli.'"

Suddenly, the actual restaurant Bella Italia had a surge in orders for the famous dish. In just over nine months in 2009, they had served more than 4,500 bowls of the $17 Bella's Mushroom Ravioli, described as "In creamy besciamella with Olympic Forest mushrooms."

Now they've served more than 10,000 bowls -- and are about serve even more now that you can buy the famous mushroom ravioli at your local market as a ready-to-heat frozen entrée.

The J-14 Magazine staff taste-tested the meal ourselves and it officially gets our J-14 seal of approval. The savory cream sauce mixed with the tasty ravioli stuffed with just the right amount of all-natural mushrooms left us all wanting more -- a true taste of Twilight!

You can have your own Bella's Mushroom Ravioli by grabbing a box for $10.99 at your local supermarket or by ordering here at bellaitaliapa.com. A portion of all the proceeds also go towards the Quileute Tribal School and Forks High School.

'Breaking Dawn, Part 1' Opening is the Fifth Largest in History

EdwardBellaBreakingDawn.jpg
This past Friday marked the opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1. While it didn't do quite as well as The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which opened to $142.8 million, the Breaking Dawn, Part 1 opening wasn't exactly shabby. In fact, it was the fifth largest opening in U.S. history and the 10th largest worldwide!

The flick, which brought in $283.5 million worldwide, didn't disappoint Summit president of distribution Richie Fay. "We faced the weekend with some trepidation because you don't really know on a fourth installment whether you are going to maintain the interest of your audience," Richie says. "[But] the numbers seem to speak for themselves."

Did you see Breaking Dawn, Part 1? What did you think of it?

J-14 Q&A with Taylor Lautner

TaylorLautner.jpg

In celebration of the first half of the final Twilight Saga installment, J-14 caught up with Taylor Lautner to talk all about Breaking Dawn, Part 1. He gave us the inside scoop on the now infamous imprinting scene, his emotional last day on set, and all of the ways he relates to Jacob's love for Bella in real life!

Q: First and foremost: Tell us all about the imprinting scene!
Taylor Lautner:
Luckily we had Stephenie Meyer on set the entire time and, trust me, I asked her a million times, "Ok, explain to me one more time what imprinting is and did you ever envision what Jacob looked like, what is he doing when he's imprinting?" It was very, very confusing. And then it didn't help when we actually filmed it they put an "x" on the wall and said, "This is Renesmee. Walk in the room, look at the 'x' and you're going to imprint." It was tough!

Q: Were you at all bothered that Edward gets a hot vampire and all Jacob gets is a baby?
Taylor:
I've gotten over that by now. But I remember the first time reading the book, I was like, "Wait, Jacob's been trying to get Bella this entire time and he strikes out so he goes for her child?" I was so confused. It took me a second. You have to tread lightly because it is a very special thing and it isn't romantic at all.

J-14 Q&A with Kristen Stewart

KristenStewart.jpg

In honor of Breaking Dawn, Part 1's movie release weekend, J-14 has an interview with the leading lady of the Twilight Saga, Kristen Stewart. Kristen tells us all about being Bella in the final installment, how much of her character is like her real-life personality, and she even opens up about her favorite scene (Hint: it includes a walk down the aisle)!

Q: How was it different playing Bella in Breaking Dawn vs. playing her in the other films?
Kristen Stewart:
Shooting the two movies at the same time, completely out of sequence, I was everywhere each day. In this movie, Bella's very much in her own head. Playing a vampire and a woman who's pregnant and a woman who's about to get married, literally sometimes all in one day or sometimes the same week, it's overwhelming!

Q: What was going through your mind walking down the aisle during the wedding scene?
Kristen:
I had a million different things going through my head. I just kept telling myself, "Find yourself in this moment and appreciate it."
