Ever since it premiered back in July 2016, we’ve all been obsessed with Stranger Things. In case you forgot, the Netflix series stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery and more! It’s a science fiction show about a group of kids who discover supernatural forces and a portal into an alternate universe. The show finally premiered its fourth season, and we can’t wai to see what’s next for these fan-favorite characters.
“I trust the Duffer brothers so much that it’s going to be beautiful and I’m going to love it no matter what it is. But I’d love for her to get her powers back because she is a hero, she is like a super woman in a way,” Millie told Glamour Magazine in August 2020. “And she loves Mike – I want them to get married. That’s what I need. I need a wedding scene for Stranger Things, period.”
Similarly, Gaten teased the upcoming episodes during an interview with Us Weekly and called it the “scariest out of the previous three.”
“One of my favorite aspects of getting to play Dustin is his wardrobe,” he told the publication in November 2020. “Fittings are always a blast. What he wears says a lot about him, I think. Vibrant colors and goofy prints. I won’t give too much away but season 4 is definitely my favorite when it comes to costumes. I have to say my least favorite look had nothing to do with design. In fact, it’s one of my favorites, but the camp outfit always felt really tight and tiny.”
In a separate interview with Entertainment Tonight in April 2021, the actor also said the “tone is definitely matured for sure” this time around. “As we are growing older as people, we have to grow older as characters. [The writers are] confronted by this issue, but they embrace it, and they use it to their advantage. And they don’t freak out when we get taller or when our voices drop or anything like that.”
When it comes to stars, they may play middle schoolers on the show but they’re much older in real life.
