There's a real reason to stay Up All Night on Saturday, April 7. One Direction will be the musical guest on NBC's Saturday Night Live!

After making their U.S. TV debut this morning on The Today Show, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik are taking over the U.S. by storm. With their debut album, Up All Night, in stores tomorrow, March 13, One Direction are no strangers to hosting Saturday nights on TV — they've been hosting every Saturday in March on Nickelodeon and will be topping it off with a special performance at the 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards on Nickelodeon.

On SNL on April 7, One Direction will be performing two songs when Modern Family and New Year's Eve star Sofía Vergara hosts the show.

The significance of the date? Justin Bieber made his SNL debut as the musical guest exactly two years ago on the same Saturday — on April 10, 2010.

The announcement came on this past weekend's episode of SNL when this slate was displayed on the screen:

If you could invent any One Direction skit for SNL, what would it be about?
