Christy Carlson Romano just shared the most amazing story about her husband, Brendan Rooney. The Disney Channel actress opened up on Instagram about how her hubby saved a young woman's life! She got a late night call from her brother-in-law that Brendan was in an ambulance, and then Christy found him in the emergency room.
"I tracked down his whereabouts from the closest hospital near the restaurant he was at. Found him in the ER. He tore up his knee and needed 14 stitches, but he's okay," she wrote.
"Then I found out he flung himself into danger to save a young woman's life. He saw a man punch a woman in the face, then he pulled out a knife on her. My husband bolted, took the man down by the neck in a choke hold, disarmed his knife, and saved the young woman's life! Like, for real? Is this the father of my child?"
She explained that he's a former Marine, so he's had a lot of training.
