Keith Weglin, a California man who “slapped” Justin Timberlake in the face at a celebrity golf tournament, has been arrested, law enforcement officials revealed on Tuesday.
Keith was booked for disorderly conduct following the incident at South Lake Tahoe Golf Club over the weekend. The incident between Justin and Keith was caught on video and showed his hand touching the star as he walked through the crowd.
Justin responded by turning around and asking, “Why would you do that?”
Tournament officials considered it a minor incident and Justin declined to press charges. However, when Keith was approached by sheriff deputies he was argumentative.
“Mr. Timberlake declined to press charges and officers directed the fan to leave the premises, he became disorderly and argumentative and was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct," the sheriff revealed.
