The Vamps and Fifth Harmony have a lot of history together, but when the boys decided to do a cover of the girls' song "That's My Girl" Harmonizers were not happy at all. The group's fans could not miss the irony in this situation since one of their songs "I Found A Girl" is said to be about Lauren Jauregui, and the group has spoken negatively about her in the past.
Lauren's past bae Brad Simpson sang the song during a Live Lounge at BBC's Radio 1, which caused an uproar since the tune is supposed to be about women empowerment.
Can't wait for you to hear our cover of @FifthHarmony โ That's My Girl on the @BBCR1 Live Lounge today ๐

Fans reacted on social media, some defending the band and some sticking up for Lauren.
If she stans Fifth Harmony she thinks The Vamps just did a tragic cover of That's my girl.

The Vamps are covering That's My Girl and the worst possible thing we could do is actually watch that video, just ignore them.

The Vamps are releasing a cover of That's My Girl lol so ironic, aren't those the lads who slut shamed Lauren?

It is sad that fans are so divided by this and we hope Lauren is not affected by this. In any case, we hope that 5H and Harmonizers, who have also done Live Lounges in the past, can appreciate that someone was covering their songs during the segment. Also we can't lie, Brad sounds pretty great!
