We were all shocked to learn that Drake and Rihanna broke up only two months after beginning their relationship. Although there seemed to be no apparent reason for the breakup, fans are now finding out that it might not be as sudden as it all seemed to be.
According to sources, the couple had arguments about Drake's close friendship with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj! The source said, "Several weeks ago [Drake and Rihanna] had an argument about Nicki because Drake kept rapping the lyrics to a few of he and Nicki’s collabs and going on and on about how he and Nicki are magical when they’re on a track together."
Hmmm, this doesn't sound too good.
The source continued, "Rihanna felt offended and thought Drake was being high key disrespectful when they themselves have worked together. Words were said, Drake apologized but Rihanna still feels some type of way and is jealous of his love for Nicki."
Oof. However, this seems like it's definitely not true Since Nicki doesn't have too many kinds words for Drake's dating tendencies.
Allegedly, the famous female rapper is none too impressed with the way Drake handles the women in his life and a source close to the star said, "She’s seen Drake tear through women…she’s not about to get twisted up in his shenanigans. She’s seen the aftermath of his destruction and she doesn’t want all the heartbreak and tears. She’s not one of those girls that he can just run game on and leave when he gets ready!"
OMG. Those are some strong words for someone who she considers a close friend! Hopefully she meant it all in a concerning way as opposed to being shady.
Either way, we're still hoping Drake and Rihanna can find their way to one another yet again!
