If there’s one-thing fans of Kendall Jenner can be sure of, it that the model and all members of her family are pretty open and honest with one another.

Neither of them are afraid to share all aspects of their life on their reality show, even health scares are the model did when opening up about her sleep paralysis. So of course, it’s pretty shocking to hear that Kendall actually kept a huge secret from both her parents back during her days as a high-school student.

Taking to her blog, the model began explaining that although both her parents trusted her and younger sister Kylie because both, “were super responsible.”

She continued to explain just how much her parents trusted her by writing, “they were OK with it if we went to parties because they knew we weren't getting into trouble—we never did anything that bad! We could've had parties ourselves if we wanted, but we really just didn't care to.”

So if there was a mutual level of trust between Kendall and her parents, what could possibly be enough to make the model lie and what more importantly what was the lie about?

Well, turns out she was afraid to share with both her mother and father a pretty important aspect of her personal life at the time – the fact that she had a boyfriend! She shared the reason behind this fib by continuing to write, “the wildest thing I did during that time was fib to my parents about where I was at night. My dad didn't really know I had a boyfriend! Even though my mom had an idea, I was really weird about telling them because I thought I'd get in trouble.”

We’re sure neither of her parents would have had such a problem with her admitting the truth, especially these days since she's been seen out on dates with rapper A$AP Rocky. Though it just goes to show that a lot of times – even celebrities tell their fair share of lies.
