The saga that is Dove Cameron and Thomas Doherty's relationship is the gift that keeps on giving. These two co-stars really hit it off when they starred in Descendants 2 together and now that they're spending time in London together — basically acting like the cutest couple ever — everyone wants to know if they're officially an item. Well, we might just be one step further to knowing the truth. Or we at least have some more proof that love is for sure in the air for the pair, since Thomas just went right ahead and literally gave Dove his heart. WE KID YOU NOT.
The Liv and Maddie starlet took to Instagram to share a photo of a silver, toggle bracelet that features a heart charm that says "Chlo" on it, along with a touch of sparkle, thanks to the diamond stud in the top corner of the charm. And who did she tag right in the center of that heart? Thomas of course.
Dove's real first name is Chloe, so it's not only endearing to know he calls her by her actual name, but that he has this nickname for her too. She also refers to him as Tommy, which just brings the adorable factor way up in this relationship. But what makes this gift even more special is the fact that Dove has a soft spot for heart-shaped lockets. She is often seen wearing her most beloved necklace, a gold heart locket that has her name on it. This piece of jewelry forever means the world to her, since it was a gift from her dad, Philip Hosterman, who passed away when she was 15 years old.
"My dad gave me a locket when I was born, the day I was born and it was this big, [so tiny] and it is functional, you can open it but you can't put anything in it and it has all my baby teething marks all over it. And he gave me a new one for my birthday every year and they got bigger as I got bigger," Dove once shared about the tradition of getting necklaces with bigger lockets on them each year.
Although Thomas never got the chance to meet Dove's dad, him picking out this specific type of bracelet for her truly shows how much she means to him, since he already knows just how much she cherishes the necklaces her dad gave her.
From both casually saying on Twitter they would possibly get matching tattoos one day, to Dove admitting she is totally down to guest-star on Thomas' Disney Channel show, The Lodge, to Thomas being one of a select batch of people who came to see Dove perform in Hairspray Live!, it's clear these two are all about the love right now and seeing their relationship unfold is just precious. Dove seems to really be living her best life too, according to her tweets.
