If any fans of Taylor Swift were hoping to hear new music from the singer or catch a performance of hers where she might preview a few tracks – it looks like they are officially out of luck.

Over the weekend, the “Shake It Off,” singer performed a pre-Super Bowl concert at a venue called Club Nomadic in Houston, Texas – which was attended by many of her famous friends such as Lea Michele who documented some of her night at the show on Snapchat, and Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles and Aly Raisman.

Among the many songs she’s known for, Taylor also sang “I Don’t Want to Live Forever,” acoustically for the first time solo but sadly her partner in crime for the song – Zayn Malik did not show up for the duet and she reaffirmed the crowd by telling them "he's not here.”

Taylor also sang songs she has not performed for herself, but written for others which included “This Is What You Came For,” which she wrote with ex, Calvin Harris and a song called “Better Man,” which was written for the country group Little Big Town.

During these performances, the singer also dropped some major news to fans in the crowd – this performance would be her last for the year. She told the audience, “As far as I know I'm only doing one show in 2017, and as far as I know, this is that show. So what I'm trying to tell you is, by coming here tonight, you're essentially attending 100 percent of my tour dates for the year."

Although Taylor didn’t give an exact reason at the time as to why she’ll be taking a break from the stage, many fans are already speculating that this could all be due to her already working on new music for an upcoming album. It wouldn’t be too surprising to hear, especially if she wanted to focus on making this new album something very different from her last.
