Camila Cabello may have left Fifth Harmony behind, but Lauren Jauregui is making sure the world knows there is no hate in her heart toward the singer. After a recent interview in which the "Bad Things" singer opened up on why she left the band, Lauren sent out an untimely tweet that had people thinking she was throwing shade at her old friend.

Camila opened up about how she felt after leaving the band and how she was ready to explore her more creative and artistic side, saying she was not allowed to as a member of 5H. The tweet in question read, "Fake that confidence bih, one day it'll be real??,," which could be sound advice for her young fans struggling with self-esteem issues.

There was no indication that the tweet had any relevance to the Seventeen interview, except the time in which it was posted but Lauren made it a point to let the media and everyone know there was no need to false report on these rumors and to focus on better things.

"Media assuming s*** and falsely reporting hatred is so boring. REPORT the positive s***..there's too much negativity in this world rn," she wrote after media outlets started reporting that the tweet was toward Camila.

Camila's interview seemed quite confident with her saying she was still proud of the girls and that fans really supported her after leaving the group.

"Fifth Harmony wasn't the maximum expression of me individually. My fans are really going to know me from the music I'm writing. My goal is to be brave and open up my soul," she said. "I'll continue to wish them all the best, and I'm happy they are continuing their journey as Fifth Harmony. I'm also looking forward to hearing new music from the group and their solo endeavors."

She even said the support from fans moved her to tears: "I did see a lot of love and support from my fans. Honestly, I didn't expect it. I was so emotional at that point, that when I saw some really encouraging things people were saying, I burst into an ugly cry."

Lauren has not been holding back on social media about the politics and state of the country at the moment, so it seems quite natural to ask the media to focus on other issues or to at least highlight the positive things happening in the world since it seems so dark at the moment.

We are glad she cleared the air and made sure there was no doubt in anyone's mind that she was shading her ex-bandmate.
