Kristen Stewart is once again letting the world know just how much of a star she is. The actress has been on a roll lately, not only talking about returning to make more Twilight movies, her love for ex-Robert Pattinson, but she has also opened up about her personal life and declared her sexuality openly for the first time recently coming out as gay on Saturday Night Live.

During a recent interview with E! News while promoting her movie Personal Shopper, the reporter asked her what the thought process was like for her during the moment she declared on television that she was gay in her SNL monologue.

“Honestly, I think it was just funny. Not to diminish the point because I think that saying things so bluntly is absolutely important, but at the same time, the only reason I haven’t ever done that is because there is an ambiguity to that and I wanted things to be really real for me,” she said.

“But honestly, it just worked for the joke and it’s entirely true! It wasn’t like, ‘Let’s do this thing that’s going to be so important.’ I just thought it was like a nice, light…and also yeah, I’m so utterly proud that I’ve had so many people be like, ‘Thank you,’ and I’m like, ‘No, thank you.’ It’s kind of mutual, full circle.”

During her opening monologue, the star talked about how Donald Trump has written several tweets about her in the past and they mostly had to do with her cheating on her then boyfriend Robert.

"And Donald, if you didn't like me then," she said, "then you're really probably not going to like me now because I'm hosting SNL and I'm like so gay, dude."

The reporter said thank you to her for that moment because it was so "powerful" to do that on such a popular TV show. The reporter said "You are going to help save lives," and she said, "Good, dude. That's really touching. Thank you so much!"

It is incredible seeing K. Stew be so comfortable in her own skin and come out of her shell to finally be who her fans knew she was. People have accused her of being too shy and reserved in the past, but this shows us that when there are topics she feels strongly about she will use her voice to speak up for what is right and that makes us super proud.
