Demi Lovato may be one of the sweetest pop stars out there (have you seen her mega-cute "engagement" to a young fan?), but she's causing fans to freak out over her comments about One Direction! When asked about the possibility of a collaboration with the band, she admitted that it probably won't happen — because she isn't inspired by them.
"I focus more on collaborations with people who inspire me," she reportedly said.
Although she did add that there is "nothing wrong with One Direction," we can't believe that she would say that! After all, it's kind of hard to believe that someone is not inspired by the "Steal My Girl" singers. She is, however, totally drawn to Ed Sheeran and says she's super-excited about their upcoming collaboration.
"I honestly cannot wait, it's just a matter of timing and working it out," she gushed.
While we love the "Thinking Out Loud" singer, we also love 1D! It would have been so great if she was open to working with them too, even if their music styles are different.
