5 Seconds of Summer fans were majorly disappointed when Michael Clifford couldn't make it to one of the band's performances because of a passport mishap, but when asked about actually splitting up, Luke Hemmings joked that Calum Hood would be the first to abandon 5SOS — for an R&B solo career.
"Calum with an R&B record…You heard it here first!" he said.

However, the guys insist they have no plans to break up.
"It's not something that you consciously plan," Michael Clifford said (in all seriousness). "You either stay together or you don't. We love what we do now and just wanna keep doing what we love."

Their former tourmates One Direction have also faced tons of rumors that they're breaking up, and they're definitely stronger than ever. So it's pretty great that the "Good Girls" singers can make fun of the rumors. We have no clue what we'd make of Calum going R&B, anyway! That would probably sound as shocking as Fifth Harmony going punk.
