5, 4, 3, 2, 1… the star studded flick New Year's Eve is out now! Stars Zac Efron, Abigail Breslin, and Jake T. Austin recently dished about the flick, on-screen kissing, and strict parents!

Q: Abigail, have you had to take to your parents yet about loosening the reigns or are they such cool parents you get to do anything you want?
Abigail Breslin:
My parents are cool. They let me do things, but I was saying the other day actually in an interview that I'm not really sure if my mom would let me do Times Square on New Year's Eve and she's like, "You're right, I wouldn't." So I don't think that's going to be happening any time soon!

Q: Zac, what was it like working with Michelle Pfeiffer again after working with her in Hairspray?
Zac Efron:
I met Michelle [Pfeiffer] a few years ago during Hairspray and had a huge crush on her always from day one and back then I was very, very young and very bashful and around her I tended to put my foot in my mouth a lot. I didn't really know what to say to her and everything just came out wrong. But then I got to talk on the phone with her about this part and I remember she said, "I think we should take this to the next level and we should really push it, let's get a kiss in there," and I was like, "I am in this movie! Sign me up." It turned out to be awesome. It is lovely working with her. Every single time, every second with her is amazing.

Q: Jake, what was the best part about working with Abigail?
Jake T. Austin:
She's a nice girl. There wasn't anything awkward like nothing out of place. It was just a really cool environment. Our story line was all kids our age. My cousin is also in the film, so it was a party basically.

Q: Abigail, what was the worst part about working with Jake?
Abigail:
Nothing! It was fun, I had a lot of fun. It was all good, we got along well.

Q: Zac, it seemed like there was some trouble with the confetti and it got in some actors mouths? What happened with that?
Zac:
Yes, every actor performs three scenes in a movie — there's the one you rehearse the night before in your bedroom, then there's the one you get to actually do when you're filming, and then there's the one you wish you would have done afterwards.
And I remember I was in my hotel room the night before imagining how I was going to kiss [Michelle Pfeiffer] and it was awesome — I was the man in every way. I just thought it was glorious like confetti started to come up and the wind swept up, newspapers started coming up, and there was electricity and a big dip. And then I went to execute on the day and right when I got to the crucial moment a huge piece of confetti flew right into my mouth. I think I just pulled it out. It was everywhere. It was in her eyes… it was everywhere.
