5 Seconds of Summer has a new album coming out and have been touring for over 5 months! Thankfully, we had the chance to catch them live at West Palm Beach's Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre this Sunday, Sept. 13, when they closed their "Rock Out With Your Socks Out" summer tour.
While we thought a Florida rainstorm would kill the evening's great vibe, the rain finally stopped and the band's opener Hey Violet played with fierce energy and the boys of 5SOS pranked them as they appeared onstage during the band's last song to play drums, guitar and dismember the stage's set up. The crowd cheered as 5SOS wore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles masks and showcased energy that they would surely use up towards their set.
And energy they showcased, as they played new and older hits such as "She Looks So Perfect" and "Long Way Home" to the delight of the sold out crowd. In the end, the band was to thankful for every fan that came to their tour, as they proved it on Instagram with a pretty picture from their last show of the tour which J-14 was lucky to catch. So awesome!
Thank you to every person who came to the #ROWYSO tour. We've loved these shows, you are the best!! A photo posted by 5 Seconds of Summer (@5sos) on Sep 13, 2015 at 11:37pm PDT
