Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are the best of friends, and it shows. In a new interview with Billboard, the touring buddies revealed a lot about their friendship, and even covered his split with Olivia Culpo. Turns out, Demi wasn't much of a fan of their relationship.

"[Nick]'s a guy in his 20s and he's famous and he likes to have a lot of fun. Listen, even when he was in a relationship, I was like, "Get out of that. You could [date] anybody that you want right now, so have fun and do that," Demi said.

When their breakup happened, the "Cool for the Summer" singer was one of the first people to know, second only to Nick's dad and his brother Joe Jonas.

"I internalize things, so we have this rule that we never want to hear about [news] in a tweet or something. She'd read me the riot act, so she's the third person I call — my dad, Joe, then Demi. She was like, 'Just go, create and be free.' She also said some other things…" Nick said.

Then, Demi chimed in! She says that she could tell that Olivia wasn't Nick's end game.

"I go, 'Honestly, I didn't like her anyway.' It's not because she's mean or anything, but he has such a great sense of humor and I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh. I can tell if something's up because he'll close off," she said.

Wow! It's kind of surprising that she's admitting this now — that's a pretty major reveal.
