Alfredo Flores has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and has become more than just their right-hand man, he's become their friend. So, who are these big names? Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Justin Bieber, just to name a few. In an interview with Refinery 29's series The Plus One, Alfredo opens up about the Manchester Attacks, winning his first moon man and how hard it is to be friends with both Justin and Selena.
Obviously, Jelena, their relationship and their break up has been a never-ending storyline in the history of modern pop culture. So The Plus One asked the question we've all been wondering, is it awkward having such a close relationship with both of them? Alfredo actually admits that it's not awkward but it is difficult. He said, "It is hard, but I try not to let it get awkward. Me and Selena are still friends, though we’re not as close as we used to be when we were working together because we’re both so busy. I try to keep everything separate, because at the end of the day, even though we’re all friends, we also work together."
He continued, "We’re all in the same industry, so you have no choice but to find ways to keep it separate. Me and Justin are very close, he’s one of my best friends. Right now I’m trying to support him as he takes a different journey with Christianity. I grew up really religious, so I like going to church with him, going to Bible study with him, talking about Jesus with him. It’s just so easy with him, because we have so much fun together no matter what we're doing."
Seriously, Alfredo seems like he's got a handle on the situation. Plus, now that Selena and Justin are hanging out again, it probably should make things easier on him. It's pretty awesome that he is able to not only maintain both friendships but also walk down the same path – in a religious sense – Justin is at the moment. We have a feeling we're going to be seeing a lot more of Alfredo if he stays in Jelena's inner circle.
