Anna Kendrick got a little taste of what it is like to be a real New Yorker on Monday. The actress, who is gearing up for her upcoming film Pitch Perfect 3 to hit theaters on Friday, was about to leave for her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when her hotel legit caught on fire. Yep, you heard that right. The place was truly in flames.
The star took to her Instagram Stories to document the aftermath of the fire, which consisted of a ton of firefighters gathered on the street – which by the way, was blocked off. So how did she get to The Tonight Show, you ask? She just started walking! After a while, she was able to flag down a cab, but after getting dropped off at the wrong location – they had to get out and start walking again. Talk about a hectic commute!
