After One Direction announced their new album Four and record-breaking track "Fireproof," the band has more major news: their new single, "Steal My Girl"! However, ever since we learned that the track was written by Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, we're wondering if they took inspiration from their own lives.
Since they both have longtime girlfriends, it looks like they're worried someone is going to steal Eleanor Calder and Sophia Smith from them!
Of course, we haven't heard the song yet, so we don't know for sure what inspired the track. Louis has previously said that he's worried Eleanor will find another guy who can be there for her more often. We wouldn't be surprised if he's writing about his fear that someone will steal his girl.
The track will be released September 29th, and it was written with Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta, and John Ryan — who just happened to write "Best Song Ever" — so you probably won't be able to get "Steal My Girl" out of your head once you hear it.
We're definitely excited to listen to it! Partly because it's a 1D song, and partly because we want to know if Louis and Liam are singing about their love lives.
Are you excited to hear One Direction's new single? What do you think inspired their song? Let us know in the comments!
