Ariana Grande has pretty much been laying low since she triumphantly wrapped up her Dangerous Woman Tour in 2017 and spent the holidays with her family and loved ones, including her boyfriend Mac Miller. She hasn't really been active on social media in nearly a month, with her last Instagram post being on Dec. 31, 2017, and she hasn't been spotted out and about at any major events either. Well, it seems like we might just be on the cusp of a new Ari era, and everyone thought it was about to begin last night at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

But here we are, still in Ariana silence. So what happened? Well, fans took note of the fact that her website dangerouswoman.com is no longer up and running. We checked just to make sure and low and behold, it's no longer active.

So obviously, this is the big signal to fans that AG4 is on the way and new music is about to drop soon, right? We mentioned that her last post on Instagram was before the new year, but it's important to note that it wasn't just any old video she closed out 2017 with. It was a clip of her new music she's clearly been hard at work on. "see you next year" she simply wrote in the caption.

Well girl, it’s next year and we’re all over here in 2018, waiting for these tunes to drop. Then came Grammy Awards night which somehow convinced Twitter Ariana was around and ready to bless us all with new music. There were even photos circulating of the songstress supposedly walking the red carpet and everything. Here is she apparently behind Khalid as he was doing an interview.

But we're going to go ahead and say this is all just the work of some very convincing Photoshop that had us all fooled. How can Ariana be at an event as big as the Grammys and not be spotted at all besides in this one moment?! Very unlikely. So no, Ariana wasn't at Madison Square Garden last night attending the show after all.

Basically, we don't have any more information than we did before. It's unclear as to when the "Into You" singer will be coming back with her new music, but she is working on it. After she responded to the awful attack at her concert in Manchester with so much love, grace, and class, Ariana's fans just want her to know they're waiting for her, whenever she's ready to release her next chapter. She gave hope during a dark time and for that, everyone will be welcoming her and her music back with open arms, whenever that is.
