Ariana Grande has faced countless rumors that she's difficult to work with, but now her "Bang Bang" duet partner Jessie J has stepped up with her side of the story. In an interview with Us magazine, she defended her fellow singer, debunking the reports that the pop star is an out-of-control diva.

Instead, she says that Ariana just knows what "what she wants," and isn't too difficult to handle.

"I always say, judge a person when you meet them. I’ve met Ariana, and there’s a very thin line between 'diva' and 'survival.' And a lot of people can’t [differentiate that] — and I’ve had that," she said. "I've had the diva stuff. And it’s when people can’t cope with how passionate you are, and how much you care."

We know how much the "Problem" singer cares about her music — she even burst in tears over one of her songs! — so we'd believe that her passion gets mistaken for a prima donna attitude.

"She's super talented, she's very young, and she's very sure of what she wants. I think she’s wonderful. She’s great."

Since Jessie recently defended Justin Bieber with a heartfelt letter, it seems like she's really supportive of younger acts, which is super-sweet. Plus, it's nice to hear about the Ariana rumors from someone who actually worked with her. They looked like they had lots of fun on set, so we're glad everything was fun and peaceful when they collaborated!
