Austin Mahone told us he was going to start working on his debut full-length album after he wrapped up his tour, but we didn't expect him to come out with new songs so soon! After teasing a big surprise, the singer released "Places," which he wrote with his best friend Robert Villanueva.
"Here's a new song me and Robert wrote since we've been in the new house!" he said.
It's a chill and romantic R&B track, written for a girl who has been "waiting stuck in a small town" and is "feeling all alone" while he is out on the road. Maybe he's singing about a mystery girl back home?
Listen to his new song below, and let us know what you think about it in the comments!
