Charlie Puth and Bella Thorne turned heads one year ago when they walked the 2016 Jingle Ball red carpet together in Florida. While they didn't show any real PDA during the event, sneaky paparazzi caught the couple seemingly about to kiss on the beaches of Miami. That is, of course, when things got nasty. Fans accused Bella of cheating on her boyfriend, at the time, Tyler Posey. What the world didn't know is that Tyler and Bella had apparently broken up weeks beforehand. But, obviously social media can cause quite a frenzy even in the celebrity world. Charlie caught wind of Bella's reported cheating claiming he didn't even know she was dating Tyler and totally dragged her on Twitter. He even apologized to Tyler.

The whole thing was obviously insane, and after a year of reportedly no communication, Bella and Charlie reunited on stage at the 2017 Jingle Ball no less. Fans have taken to social media to express how savage they thought the Jingle Ball showrunners were to have Bella announce Charlie's performance of his track "Attention." Why was that such a cruel thing to do? Well, if you've kept up with the rumors surrounding Charlie's music and this song, in particular, lots of people believe it's a diss track about Bella and the fight they had last year.

But, if it were up to Bella, she just wants to put the rumors to rest. The Famous In Love actress proved that there really isn't any bad blood between her and Charlie. She introduced him as her 'friend.' Unfortunately, there aren't any photos of the whole thing going down, but some fans that were in the audience had some very strong opinions about the introduction. One said, "Bella Thorne introducing Charlie Puth?!? HAHAHAHA NO #iHeartJingleBall."

Another fan said, "Charlie Puth singing “Attention” right after Bella Thorne introduces him on stage. Savage lol #JingleBall."

One person had a lot of feelings and legitimately couldn't write the tweet without using caps lock. "BELLA THORNE INTRODUCING CHARLIE PUTH WHAT THE OH WAIT OH WAIT SHE JUST CALLED HIM HER FRIEND I DONT BUY IT. NOW HES SINGING SONGS ABOUT HER THIS IS HILARIOUS #iHeartJingleBall."

Neither Bella or Charlie has yet to comment on the situation and we have a feeling they are going to let this one slide. After everything that went down between them and now fans calling out iHeartRadio over the savage introductory pairing, it might be a good idea to just leave this one alone. Of course, it's been a year and so many things have changed since then. Bella is now happily dating her boyfriend Mod Sun and Charlie has been on a fair share of dates since then. Not only that but his music career is booming. It'd be kind of weird if they STILL had beef with each other, to be honest.

Back in July, Bella told her side of the story with all the Charlie drama when she appeared on The Jenny McCarthy Show.

"Charlie saw an old news article, and he didn’t look at the date, and the date is old, and it’s about me and Ty. In Charlie’s defense, when he read it, not reading the date, it sounded like it was about me and Ty still being together. He didn’t even text me or talk to me about it…I felt super bad. I kept calling him. He wouldn’t answer my calls, and then he just starts texting me," Bell said. While Be hasn't revealed the specifics about how she and Charlie settled the dispute, it's obvious that some words were exchanged and everything is okay – as okay as it can be. Bella isn't one to act fake or say things she doesn't mean so the fact that she called Charlie her 'friend' during the show proves that she's over everything that happened between them.
