The fate of Best Friends Whenever was up in the air for a little bit (as all television shows are), but the Disney Channel decided to renew the series! The second season will air later this year, and Landry Bender says that she's so excited to finally announce the news.

The writers room also said that they'll be writing new episodes in just a couple of weeks.
