Bridgit Mendler has officially returned to her musical roots, and it’s unlike anything fans have ever heard before.
The former Good Luck Charlie star just dropped the music video for her new track “Can’t Bring This Down” featuring Pell. The song is a drastic shift from the pop scene, and features and sultry R&B vibe, which allows for Bridgit’s amazing vocals to be the main focus.

In the video itself, Bridgit and Pell are floating over clouds and water while the colors around and on them are constantly changing, giving the video a colorful and chromatic look.
The point of the video according to the actress was to help put a visual to the way a person feels when they fall head over heels for someone. “With Pell and I in this video, you can't tell which way down is. When you fall for someone, you fall upwards into an emotional high,” Bridgit revealed when speaking out about the video.
