BUNK’D fans, time for the update you never wanted to hear. After the show airs its third season, the series will be over for good. Disney Channel went ahead and renewed the show last summer but once the episodes that are currently airing finish, it’s the end of the Ross kids’ adventures at Camp Kikiwaka.

Skai Jackson confirmed in March to Clevver that the cast was just about done filming the final episodes.

“This is my last week on Disney, so Monday and Tuesday will be our last filming days for BUNK’D and then the series is over. [It’s] very sad,” Skai said. “I had such an amazing run. And I think for everyone, it’s just time to move on. We’ve played these characters for seven years now and we’re all growing up and I can’t be Zuri forever. But it is kind of bittersweet to let go of Zuri.”

End of an era for sure! Peyton List also confirmed that once the series airs its final episode, she will no longer be on Disney Channel anymore, something Cameron Boyce and Skai have said too since they’re all working on new projects. The Ross kids are all growing up.

The latest season of BUNK’D saw a major shake-up with Emma, Ravi, and Zuri arriving at their beloved summer camp, only to find out that several cabins were lost because of a fire. The camp’s owner Gladys, spent the insurance money, so it was up to the Ross kids to save the camp, with the help of their parents. They reunited with Lou, played my Miranda May, to rebuild the cabins and bring back the camp spirit. Not every beloved character returned for the third season either. In a statement we received from Disney Channel, it was announced that Kevin Quinn, who played Xander, Nathan Arenas, who played Jorge and and Nina Lu, who played Tiffany, would not be returning for Season 3.

“Producers reassessed the story plan for season three and both creative and casting choices were made; the writers will now begin the story arcs that introduce new characters that will be announced soon. On behalf of the production company and everyone at Disney Channel, we appreciate the contributions made by Kevin, Nathan and Nina to the success of the series and wish them well,” the statement from the network said.

And now the doors of the camp will be closed forever! But hey, we still have reruns, right? Jessie is still always airing on the network, and we have a feeling BUNK’D will be for some time too.
