The British band Busted is getting back together! Although two of its members are currently in McBusted, which is made up of guys from both Busted and McFly, the original three members are reuniting for a brand-new tour in 2016.
Charlie Simpson left the group in 2005, and even though he promised he wouldn't rejoin the band, it seems like he's making an exception! He'll be performing alongside his bandmates Matt Willis and James Bourne next year.
In a recent press conference, Charlie explained, “Staying in the band at that time could have risked our friendship. I’ve lost count of the number of times where I’ve said publicly I wouldn’t do this again. But I have changed my mind.”
It's a good thing! Even if you've never heard of the band, you've probably heard some of their songs. (They recorded "Year 3000" and "What I Go to School For" before the Jonas Brothers.)
“Busted only had two albums. So we’re probably going to play every song that you know then start all over again,” Matt added.
Woo hoo! Get nostalgic, yo.
