The music world is about to get turned upside down because Camila Cabello is almost ready to make her solo debut! The "Bad Things" singer revealed in a new interview with Fault magazine that she hopes to have a few songs out before the summer and her entire album released by the fall. This is all too exciting and no one thought it would happen this quickly.

Camila left **Fifth Harmony just about three months ago and things got pretty nasty. There were so many rumors about what happened, what went wrong and whether or not she had warned the other girls that she was about to go off on her own. Regardless of what is true or not, Camila has finally opened up about the transition from being one of five to solo stardom.

She said, "I think the scariest part about it is leaving a successful project to pursue a new dream with a new path full of questions of self-discovery that only you can answer. But even when I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of my former group, expressing myself as an artist became a necessity."

Not only that but she gets even more candid about how she found the time to write solo music when she was so busy traveling, performing and working with Fifth Harmony. Camila explained, "I was always writing, not necessarily for myself, but just because I really wanted to be a songwriter. I think as I was writing I found my own voice as an artist and as a person, and I’m discovering more about it every day."

This is amazing, to be honest. It just goes to show what kind of work ethic Camila has. Yes, she was giving her all for 5H but at the same time, she knew what she wanted in life. So, that meant she had to work even harder and even longer to get to the place she is slowly but surely going now. Because she has been working on her own music and writing her own songs over the course of the last several years, fans will be able to hear her solo jams sooner rather than later.

Camila said, "I hope to release my first few songs before summer and then go from there and hopefully an album in the Fall."

YASS. There's no telling if this is all set in stone just yet but our fingers are crossed that she's telling the truth. The world has heard her collaborations with Shawn Mendes, Machine Gun Kelly, Pitbull and J Balvin. The tracks were incredible, to say the least, so we can't even imagine what this gal has planned for the songs that only feature her vocals.

We have a feeling that describing her future music as 'epic' will be a total understatement!
