Charlie Puth is here for 2018 and he has a message for all of the people that are struggling to make their dreams a reality – keep going! He took to Twitter to reflect back on the past year and how far he has come since he first broke into the industry way back in 2014. He wrote this adorable message to his fans and said, "Not to be super cheesy…but I just stood outside in the street of my neighborhood for five minutes thinking about how in 2014 I wanted everything I have right now in 2018. Blah blah blah don’t give up on your dreams but seriously it’s good advice."

Aww, Charlie babe! While he thinks it might be cheesy, we think it's pretty freaking cool that he's letting the world know just how things can happen when you work hard enough for them. Over the course of three years, he has collaborated with some of the most well-known artists including Selena Gomez, Meghan Trainor, Liam Payne, and Wiz Khalifa as well as releasing his debut album, Nine Track Mind in 2016. His fans can't get enough of him and it seems like Charlie isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

The world actually is so obsessed with this small town guy, that we are eagerly awaiting his second album. Unfortunately, he just announced that he has to push back the release date. While he didn't give much of a reason as to why he had to do this other than the fact that it isn't perfect just yet, he did tell his fans that he would be releasing a brand new song he did with Boyz II Men.

Charlie tweeted, "So I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have to push the album release date. I’m producing this album all myself and with that comes a lot of work, and in my opinion, the album is not perfect yet. However, it will still come out this year, and soon."

He added, "But to make it up to all of you, here’s the good news. I’m putting out a song I did with Boys II Men tomorrow. And it’s probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. Love you guys and thank you for understanding."

It seems like even though he is having a bit of a setback with the album, he's still chasing his dreams and they are still becoming a reality. So, if you ever are second guessing whether or not you should pursue something that might seem impossible, remember Charlie's wise words. It can happen if you really, really want it to.
