It's official: Christy Carlson Romano is the mom to a beautiful baby girl! The Even Stevens actress welcomed her first child with husband Brendan Rooney on Christmas Eve, and they couldn't be happier. The couple named their daughter Isabella Victoria Rooney, announcing the news on Instagram with a beautiful, seasonal photo featuring a little holiday stocking for their newborn.
"Brendan & I are excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Isabella Victoria Rooney! Born Christmas Eve at 3:52 PM. We are so blessed and so thankful for everyone's support during this special time. ??," she wrote.
The Disney Channel star opened up about what a gift it is to have a Christmas Eve baby.
“Joy doesn’t begin to express how we feel this Christmas! Isabella is the greatest thing to ever happen to us and we are truly grateful to all those who have supported us during this special and momentous time," the actress told People.
She previously told the publication, “I am flabbergasted at the serendipity of having a baby on Christmas. It’s our favorite holiday! What a gift we’ll have this year. Feeling so blessed and grateful.”
The 32-year-old actress has been documenting her entire pregnancy on social media, even in the week leading up to the birth. While waiting for her due date to arrive, she even attempted to go holiday shopping.
Christy and Brendan tied the knot in 2013, and Isabella is their first child together, although they do have a beloved pup named Brando. The husband and wife already have their nursery set up for their baby girl, and it looks adorable.
