While Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart like to keep things on the down-low, every Riverdale fan would agree they are dating IRL – and it's even cuter because their characters on the show are also in a relationship (er, it's rocky). Anyway, fans guessed that there was more than just a friendly connection between these two long before anything came out publicly. At first, we were all a bit skeptical but after doing some hard investigative work, there were so many moments between them that literally screamed #COUPLEALERT.
Onlookers at Comic Con said the pair, "could not keep their hands off of one another" and they "were very open with their PDA at parties during the event, and close friends did not seem surprised." So, after all this, it got us thinking, what moments did we really miss that clued us into their secret relationship? Shockingly, they never were very private about the whole thing.
Cole brought Lili to meet Debby Ryan's kittens.
I mean, who takes someone that's JUST their co-star to meet one of their best friends? Kittens are cute and all but Cole could have made this trip alone. It's obvious he wanted Debby and Lili to hang out!
Cole uses Lili as a model for his photo shoots.
This is SO flattering and we should have realized they were dating right here and now. This shows that they hang out off the set. But, they aren't just hanging out. Cole is literally capturing Lili's beauty in the truest form and we're dying over it.
Cole can't stop staring at Lili during interviews.
That GAZE, come on.
This fan photo is when people started noticing Cole and Lili seemed extra cozy.
It's literally like the fan isn't even there. LOL.
Cole gave Lili his jack at the EW party.
Okay, so basically he's the best boyfriend ever. You don't see FRIENDS giving FRIENDS their jackets, well most of the time you don't. This just proves how much Cole cares and looks after Lili. We're melting.
Lili wished Cole a 'happy birthday' on Instagram with the most coupley photo ever.
She captioned the pic, "Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my pal, Cole. 💃🏼." Pal? He's definitely more than just a pal, but we'll let this one slide.
Cole introduced Lili to his brother, Dylan Sprouse.
When she starts meeting the family, we should have known it was more than just a friendly, innocent, professional relationship. Lili captioned her Instagram "This picture was taken before I got the worst sunburn of my life. Thanks for looking out, boys."
Lili publicly makes fun of Cole on Twitter and acts like the typical girlfriend.
If you don't send your boyfriend tweets about poop, then are you even dating?
Lili called Cole 'the greatest.'
Okay, she pumps him up and shares embarrassing photos. I don't know about you but that's what I like to call cyber flirting also known as THINGS THAT COUPLES DO.
Lili posted a super sexy photo of herself and Cole obviously responded.
He's basically giving it away here that he is super attracted to her. Why no one noticed is beyond me. Lili posted this photo on Twitter.
Cole's response was priceless and obviously had a Riverdale reference.
Every time Lili and Cole take a photo together, they are touching each other. Always.
We're not sure if this is in the Riverdale handbook that cast members need to do this during every photo but Cole and Lili can't keep their hands off each other! Oh yeah, and she's kissing him if every other sign wasn't enough.
Cole and Lili actually watched a sunset together and it was documented.
Could this have been their first date? A freaking sunset date? I'm dead. They are everything.
Cole and Lili's relationship status was questioned when Mr. Moseby got involved.
This may have been the ultimate tipping point. Phill Lewis, the actor who played Mr. Moseby on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, put up a video on Twitter. He questioned what was going to happen next in *Riverdale. But, the weird thing was, he only tagged Lili and Cole out of the entire cast. Fans seem to think that Cole introduced Lili to his inner circle because they were dating hence why Phill tagged her in the post as well.
We rest our case.
