It's official: Debby Ryan is heading back to television. The actress — best known for her Disney Channel roles as Bailey on The Suite On Deck and the nanny with big Hollywood dreams on Jessie — has snagged the lead role in Insatiable, a new pilot for The CW. Doses of Debby every week on our TV screens again?! YES, PLEASE.

Unlike her past Disney Channel comedy shows, this pilot is a drama, which focuses on a lawyer named Bob who fed up with his job, decides to become a beauty pageant coach. His first client is Debby's character Patty, a smart girl who used to be bullied for her weight. After she ends up with a broken jaw and loses 70 pounds, she emerges as stunning as ever and that's when Bob offers to transform her into a pro beauty queen, and it looks like she might be out for revenge, according to the official description.

OK, now this plot sounds so intense and there are for sure going to be some twist and turns along the way. This character is definitely unlike anything Debby has played before and if this show ends up getting picked up as a full series, the starlet will be on the same network as her former Suite Life co-star and still to this day BFF, Cole Sprouse. Bailey and Cody might just be back working together again. Well, sort of, but still this is MAJOR.

Cole is currently starring as Jughead on Riverdale, a role Deb is a fan of herself since she not only has posted on Snapchat that she was watching it, but she even retweeted Cole's most recent tweet where he poked a little fun at his character, saying that he was heading to the Tipton Hotel.

Now that is just all types of amazing. Not only does Debby now have this series in the works, but she will also be appearing in the upcoming VH1 show Daytime Divas with another one of her longtime friends, Chloe Bridges. Looks like 2017 is already the year of Debby.
