Everything finds it’s rightful place – at least in the case of Debby Ryan’s new series.

It just been announced via Deadline that a dark comedy – or a dramedy as it’s otherwise known, starring the Jessie actress has been picked up by Netflix for a 13 episode order!

The series is called Insatiable, and it will center around a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach who takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager (Debby Ryan) as his client.

As exciting as it is to hear that the former Disney Channel star will be giving her loyal fans a new series to watch, news of her joining the Netflix family isn’t without a little bit of drama. Turns out that Insatiable was originally ordered as a pilot by The CW, but they had to ultimately pass on picking up the show for a full season.

Fans might remember that earlier this year, Debby shared the news of her starring in the lead role on the series with a few fun posts on social media.

When one door closes, another one opens. This news is an overall win for the actress who’s excited to finally be sharing this project will all of her fans. The actress took to social media to share the news of the series being picked up by tweeting out, “Stoked to announce that Insatiable is the new bb member of the @netflix family. The pathological strange funny baby.”

Despite that little hiccup the show was able to find a home which means Debby will be back on television, in yet another show that will have fans calling for multiple binge-watching sessions, that’s for sure!

Maybe now this will give Debby some free time to hopefully make that cameo on Riverdale, because one way or another – it needs to happen!
