Debby Ryan was catapulted into stardom when she appeared on the Disney Channel shows Jessie and The Suite Life on Deck. The actress has been busy filming a ton of movies, but J-14 had the chance to catch up with her at The Celebrity Experience, , which gives young performers an inside look at the entertainment industry.
Of course, we just had to find out where she wanted to see her Jessie character Jessie Prescott, if the show was still airing.
After we asked the question, Debby chuckled and said, “She’s probably doing the same thing I am. She’s probably auditioning and deciding, ‘Oh like…if I had just gone in and been really emotional and vulnerable [at this audition], I probably would’ve felt like it resonated more.”
She went on to talk about Jessie’s love life! She said, “Hopefully, she’s got a super hot boyfriend who’s not anywhere inside of the industry but is just smart. I hope she’s dating a doctor at Cedar Sinai. Something cool, like a pediatrician. Someone really good with kids.”
Debby and TCE founder/film producer George Caceres hosted an event in which Debby shared her wisdom of the acting world with aspiring artists from around the country.
It’s amazing that Debby took the time to help young kids, and you could tell they appreciated her being there by the energy in the room.
