After 14 seasons, the beloved teen TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation is coming to an end – but not without an epic send off first! TeenNick will airing the show's final 12 episodes every day (Monday -Friday) for two weeks, starting with an hour-long special on Monday, July 20th at 9pm ET.
Before saying goodbye to the show for good, the network will have a special segment on Friday, July 31th at 8pm ET called It Goes There: Degrassi’s Most Talked About Moments, where the Degrassi cast members, creators and fans will share the series’ most iconic moments. And after that, the finale will air.
“For an incredible 14 seasons, Degrassi has been a groundbreaking show tackling so many important topics that real teens face in their everyday lives,” the show's Senior Vice President Keith Dawkins said in a statement. “In the final episodes on TeenNick and through the hour-long special and social activations, we hope to say goodbye in a way that is both fitting to the show and Degrassi’s passionate fan base."
We're glad that TeenNick is doing something so special for the show's finale. After all, it's been the home to a ton of your fave stars including Drake and Nina Dobrev.
