Demi Lovato left everyone shook when she dropped her latest album, Tell Me You Love Me and hinted that two of the tracks, "Ruin the Friendship" and "Only Forever," are about Nick Jonas. Demi and Nick have been friends since their Camp Rock days, through the ups and downs in their personal lives and have even gone out on tour together. They've remained the best of friends and, while we all hope one day they'll ride off into the sunset together all happy and in love, for now, it seems like there's nothing more than friendship here.
Nemi has given us plenty of adorable BFF moments over the years and they've truly said some of the sweetest things ever about each other and the evolution of their friendship. So we're taking a trip down memory lane and looking back on all the oh so adorable things they have shared about each other that will 100% have you shipping these longtime buds if you weren't already.
"I internalize things, so we have this rule that we never want to hear about it in a tweet or something. She'd read me the riot act, so she's the third person I call — my dad, Joe, then Demi," he said to Billboard.
"There's an element of trust that you don’t find with people nowadays. He's family. I am the person who tells him things he doesn’t want to hear, like I told him to be more vulnerable with his music," Demi told Glamour.
"We’ve always had very open communication and we’re very honest with one another. There’s also a real and genuine comfort level between us. And I think a lot of our chemistry comes from that," Nick said to Daily Mail.
"I'm in constant awe of how powerful her voice is and in my opinion, she’s truly one of the most talented artists out there," Nick said to Daily Mail. And when it was announced that she was nominated for her first ever Grammy Award, Nick shared a sweet message on Instagram. "This makes me so happy. @ddlovato you deserve this. So proud," he wrote.

"One of the many things I admire about my friend Demi Lovato is that she pushes her family, and her friends, and her community she builds around her to absolutely be who they are, and to embrace their vulnerabilities and make them strengths. There are things that may hold other people back, like 'how are people going to react if I say this?' Or 'how is my career going to be affected if I do this?' Not Demi. She's completely authentic, 24/7," Nick said in a speech he gave as he presented Demi with the Vanguard Award at the 2016 GLAAD Awards. And Demi took to Instagram to share her heartfelt thanks to Nick for his kind words.
"Last night I was given the Vanguard award from GLAAD and one of my best friends presented it to me with words that totally made me cry.. That friend is my brother @nickjonas and I'm so thankful for our friendship. Love you and thanks for last night 🙏🏼," she wrote on Instagram. The lovefest didn't stop there, since they both continued to express how happy they are to have one another on Twitter.

Still crying over it all.
"He has such a great sense of humor and I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh. I can tell if something's up because he'll close off," she said to Billboard. "I want the world to be able to laugh the same way I do when I’m around him," she continued to Glamour.
And while we're all here hoping these two end up living happily ever after, that might just be as friends since even Nick's brother and Demi's former flame Joe Jonas can tell they have a unique bond unlike any other that makes them family.
"You'd think they're siblings, sometimes more than Nick and I," Joe confessed to Billboard. And well, family is forever after all, right?
