Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez hung out a few weeks ago, but it seems like they only recently started talking! In a new interview with Complex, the "Cool for the Summer" singer was asked about her relationship with her longtime friend — and things seemed pretty icy between them at the time.
When asked if they were still talking, she responded with a simple, "Nope."
The interviewer inquired if they stopped hanging out because of Selena's relationship with Justin Bieber, but she said, "Not really. Not anymore."

Then, when asked if she signed the petition to deport The Biebs, she only had positive things to say. (Demi has previously admitted that Justin has changed for the better, but it's still nice to hear.)
"No, I didn’t. He’s actually a nice guy. I don’t really know him that well, but he seems to have grown up. He looks like he’s maturing. But, you know, when you’re young and you get older, you change and people change. You have things in common, and then all of a sudden, you don’t. It’s just a part of life," she said.
The "Good For You" singer says that her friendship with her longtime bestie is just like family, so it makes sense that their relationship goes through ebbs and flows. Demi probably gave this interview a while ago, and we're just glad that their dynamic has changed. Delena forever!
