Demi Lovato may just be having the best summer ever! In addition to touring the country on her 'Unbroken' tour and holding auditions as an 'X Factor' judge, the 19-year-old star was just announced as the host of the 2012 Teen Choice Awards!
This year's show is already building up an all-star lineup with performances by Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida, and No Doubt, and confirmed appearances by Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Miley Cyrus, Zooey Deschanel, Ellen DeGeneres, Jason Derulo, Zac Efron, Selena Gomez, Lucy Hale, Josh Hutcherson, Victoria Justice, Laura and Vanessa Marano, Bridgit Mendler, Lea Michele, Shay Mitchell, Tyler Posey, Sophia Grace and Rosie, Jordin Sparks, and Taylor Swift!
Demi is the second youngest host to ever have the honor of carrying the awards show --Â the youngest was Miley Cyrus in 2009. This year, Teen Choice Awards happen to air on Sunday, July 22 -- the same day as Selena Gomez' 20th birthday! Maybe Demi will throw her BFF an onstage surprise party? We can't wait to tune in!
