We've been anticipating Taylor Lautner and Marie Avgeropoulos' movie Tracers for what feels like forever, and now it's finally coming out! The action movie follows a bike messenger who falls into a group of parkour enthusiasts (and, obviously, some trouble).
When we got a chance to talk to the actress who plays Nikki, we had to ask her about what it was like filming such an active role, especially as one of the only females in the cast.
"I’ve always been a tomboy and a guy’s girl, so that’s sort of how it was for me in high school anyways. I was always the girl who skateboarded to school, and nobody else did that, so I would always be hanging with the boys," she EXCLUSIVELY told J-14.

"And now that I’m an adult, I ride motorcycles, and I’m always only the other girl who rides with the boys too. So for me, I felt right at home."
But that isn't to say that filming didn't have any challenges — it's a very physical role.
"It was all pretty challenging because you got to put your skills to work that you learned in the parkour gym. In the parkour gym, everything was padded and soft and squishy," she said.
"But on the movie set, it’s concrete with big drops and a crew of people watching, so basically just putting everything you learned to the test and not being afraid to go for it."
