If anyone knows how to deal with the press, it's Miley Cyrus, so when she noticed her friend Justin Bieber getting picked on by the media more than ever, she decided she needed to step in and give him some advice.
In an interview with The Scottish Sun, Miley said, "I told Justin to take a bit of time out and people aren’t so obsessed with you and nitpick. When you’re not around, all they want is your music. They want to see what the next thing is. But when your music is out they just want to [say bad things] about you."
Miley also mentioned how things are a lot different when you're well-known — people criticize you much more and you can't get away with anything.
“When you’re a worldwide star, everyone sees everything. Lots of people make a video and put it on Instagram, some people might think it’s funny, but because it’s Justin Bieber, it’s really bad. I always tell him just to be cool and not talk about it because when you talk it fuels the fire."
