Zendaya shattered hearts everywhere when she confirmed the end of her Disney Channel series, K.C. Undercover is nearer than we think. There are new episodes currently airing of Season 3, which the cast is still filming, so it’s unclear as to when exactly the Cooper fam will take their final bow, but the show will be concluding sooner rather than later. That’s totally expected though, since Z is making her way into movie star territory, starring in the blockbuster hit Spider-Man: Homecoming and the upcoming musical, The Greatest Showman, and Disney Channel shows are known for only airing for three to four seasons. But she has just given us a glimmer of hope that she’s not going to completely say goodbye to the House of Mouse when the show wraps, and it all came down to some tweets.

If you’ve checked the tweets Z has liked recently (as in the last 24 to 48 hours), you would see a pair of messages from fans that suggest she just might continue being a total boss at the network that helped make her a star. Zendaya liked two tweets from fans saying they hope she still stays working on the network as a producer of other shows.

Now, does this serve as confirmation that she will indeed continue to be a part of creating new series on Disney Channel? Or this is something she hopes ends up happening too? Either way, it’s clear the starlet has hopes of continuing her relationship with Disney Channel, even as she moves on to a new chapter in her career. She is no stranger to having her voice heard when it comes to making sure what she’s putting out there for her younger fans to watch is something she’s proud of. When it came time for K.C. Undercover, Z was only 16 years old, but she made tons of changes she felt were necessary, which included making her a producer of the series, changing the name of the show from Super Awesome Katy and she insisted it feature a family of color.

“I got in a room with the heads of Disney Channel,” Zendaya explained to Vogue. “I was like, ‘The title is whack. That’s gonna change.’ I wanted to make sure that [K.C.] wasn’t good at singing or acting or dancing. That she wasn’t artistically inclined. I didn’t want them to all of a sudden be like, ‘Oh, yeah, and then she sings this episode!’ No. She can’t dance; she can’t sing. She can’t do that stuff. There are other things that a girl can be. I want her to be martial arts–trained. I want her to be able to do everything that a guy can do. I want her to be just as smart as everybody else. I want her to be a brainiac. I want her to be able to think on her feet. But I also want her to be socially awkward, not a cool kid. I want her to be normal with an extraordinary life.”

Clearly she cares about the project she works on and knowing she still wants to continue building her Disney relationship is everything. Of course, she’s going to take on more mature material as well, since she is almost 21 years old. She just appeared in Bruno Mars‘ music video for his jam “Versace On the Floor” and she literally slayed playing the love interest in the video.

She looks like a legit goddess while she dances around and sings along as she hears Bruno singing and playing the piano from the other room. Although they don’t actually interact with each other besides a little smile in the beginning, they for sure have chemistry and she got to show off her sultry side, which she hasn’t really done before.

She is nothing but classy in the video and is no doubt stealing hearts left and right with her performance. Plus the fact that yes, she can be a beloved current Disney Channel star and do other more “grown up” roles as well shows how much of a boss she really is, which fans have been quick to praise her for.
