Ed Sheeran And Cherry Seaborn: Engagement Rumors Squashed

There are no wedding bells just yet!

Ed Sheeran and his longtime girlfriend Cherry Seaborn are super cute together. Not only do we love their relationship but these two are super private which probably means that they have a really good connection. Lots of times when celebrity couples stay out of the spotlight, they tend to last longer. But, have Ed and Cherry decided on forever just yet? There were rumors swirling around last week that they were engaged but Ed is squashing them once and for all.

The “Castle on the Hill” singer appeared on the Fitzy & Wippa radio show in Australia and said, “You know, he’s [Russell Crowe] only met Cherry once and I didn’t introduce her. I didn’t say anything. I think he just assumed. But no, we’re not engaged.”

Finally, some confirmation! So, how did this all get started?

Russell Crowe was on a Facebook Live chat recently and said, “[Ed] was on tour here and he was getting a bit burned out, so he came up and stayed at the farm for a couple of days to get some sleep and then we became conversational mates. He has subsequently gone back to the farm with his fiancée for more time.”

Of course, fans now know that Russell was definitely mistaken. But, that doesn’t mean that Ed isn’t open to the idea of marriage or kids in the future! Back in January on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Show Ed admitted, “This has been the first time I’ve ever actually had the time to fall in love properly. I’ve always got into relationships very passionately. I’m a redhead and also Irish…I wanted to be a dad, like, last year. I’m ready, let’s go—tour bus babies, little fat, chubby babies that just walk around.”
