Emma Roberts is quite the star in the television show Scream Queens, but besides a starring role as a resident mean girl she feels she has gained something else...confidence and an understanding of real friendships.
In a recent interview Emma confessed that she has gained some great friends from her time on the show and that they get along great. She also admitted to feeling like she's finally reached a friendship milestone where she's grown up and realized who her real friends are. Awesome!
“I’m such a girl’s girl. I’m finally at a point in my life where I feel like I have the group of friends that I always dreamed of having that I know I can support and trust and that make me feel confident,” she said in the interview.
But, finding those friends wasn't always that easy, added Emma.
“When I was a teenager I was surrounding myself with friends who were talking behind everyone’s back and starting drama. People do get competitive and fake, and it didn’t make me feel good,” she said. “Sadly, I’ve had to let some friendships go over the last few years. I think it’s hard for any girl growing up — you definitely find out who your friends are.”
We can definitely relate with Emma's comments and we have all been there...it's definitely hard to find good friends and when you do they're like gold!
