Emma Watson has been facing major backlash for posing in a nearly see-through on the cover of the new Vanity Fair issue. The actress was featured on the magazine to promote her new movie Beauty and the Beast, but she did not expect this sort of backlash.

The Harry Potter star has been known in recent years for her fight for women's rights, and her constant work for feminism. Since these photos of her displaying a bit of her body were released, people started questioning her commitment to the movement. She responded recently about how startled she was by the controversy, saying: "Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women. It's about freedom, it's about liberation, it's about equality. I really don't know what my t–s have to do with it."

Yikes. Feminism is about giving women the freedom to express themselves and live as they wish. Unfortunately, Emma is not the only one to have her beliefs brought into question as a celebrity feminist.
