Can't get enough of the Jersey Shore? You're in luck -- the whole cast (yep, including Angelina!) is back for season two, which promises even more drama than last year. J-14 caught up with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro at the Jersey Shore Soundtrack release party and found out what it was like going to Miami, how he dealt with living with his ex Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, and who he hopes wins a Teen Choice Award.
J-14: What were the biggest differences that you noticed between Miami and New Jersey?
Ronnie Margo: The women, the beach, the atmosphere -- everything! They're the complete opposite, like comparing a Hyundai and a Mercedes.
J-14: Last season your motto was "Don't fall in love at the Jersey Shore." What's your motto this season since you had to live with your ex Sammi?
Ronnie: This season was go to Miami and have a good time -- just do what I have to do for myself, whatever is going to make me happy.
J-14: Is there just as much fighting this season as last?
Ronnie: Not so much with me. It's more in-house dram -- everyone got really comfortable with each other.
J-14: What did you think when you heard that the show was nominated for the "Choice TV: Reality Show" award at the Teen Choice Awards?
Ronnie: Really? Wow! That is good. I'm glad that the show is such a phenomenon. We have so many fans, and I feel blessed.
J-14: Would you pick DJ Pauly D or Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino to win the Male Reality/Variety Star award?
Ronnie: They are both like my brothers. We've got that guy bond going on so I can't do it.
The second season of Jersey Shore premieres Thursday, July 29 at 10 pm ET/PT on MTV.
