After Fifth Harmony made their debut as a quartet at the People's Choice Awards and they totally slayed their performance, fans were so excited to see the group sing the United States' National Anthem at the 2017 NHL All-Star Game—unfortunately, it never happened since the group cancelled the appearance just hours before they were scheduled to hit the stage.

Billboard reported that the group canceled the performance due to one of the members feeling ill prior to the show and not being able to sing. A couple of hours before the four girls were supposed to take the stage at Los Angeles' Staples Center, the group's official Twitter account sent a message about the event that seemed enthusiastic writing, "Happy #NHLAllStar day!!!"

The group has not said anything regarding the matter since that tweet and Courtney Daniels ended up singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" to replace Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Dinah Jane. Harmonizers were upset to not be able to see their girls perform without little to no explanation, and even said they did not believe the reports.

TMZ later reported that it was Dinah who fell ill and paramedics were called to their dressing room where she was put on a stretcher. Their sources reported that the EMTs evaluated the singer and decided not to take her to a hospital and the group left the arena together, cancelling their appearance.

Some people are even saying that they cancelled their show because the group had "trouble staying on key singing the national anthem."

After hearing them perform live on several questions, that last report seems a bit incredulous. The band just went from five members to four, and though they have performed without a member when she was sick in the past, that would have been a lot more challenging to do as a trio. This was a huge opportunity for them but life happens and it is unpredictable at times.

We hope that Dinah, or any of the girls that was not feeling well, recovers quickly and that we see them performing as soon as possible.
